Hello Students and Families!

Welcome to 5th Grade Science! I am excited to begin a new year of discovery, exploration, and learning with all of you.

In Science this year, students will use the HMH Science workbook as we investigate topics related to life, earth, physical, and space sciences. Students will participate in hands-on activities, experiments, discussions, and STEM challenges that help bring science to life.

We also have copies of the ScienceSaurus reference book available in the STEM Lab for students to use throughout the year. This resource helps students review important concepts, build vocabulary, and deepen their understanding of science topics.

Science is all about asking questions, exploring new ideas, and discovering how the world works. I encourage students to stay curious, think like scientists, and always be willing to learn something new.

I look forward to an exciting year of learning and growing together in 5th Grade Science!

At the end of each topic, a review page may be sent home for students to complete if it is not finished in class.
