Dear Students & Parents,

Welcome to fifth grade! We are very excited to have you in our classrooms this year and we hope you all are excited to begin fifth grade. Our goal is to make this coming year a fun, interesting, and enjoyable year of learning for each and every one of you. Throughout the year, we will strengthen and expand our skills as readers, and writers, as well as tackle new concepts and challenges in all academic areas. We are counting down the days until we get to meet all of you!

To properly prepare for fifth grade, please make sure to purchase the list of school supplies found on the class website. In addition, remember to complete your summer homework, as everything will be due the first week of school! Curriculum will start the first full week of school, so parents please make sure that your child is ready to go with all of their school supplies.

We are very excited to get started with you all on what is sure to be a productive and positive school year! Please remember to bring an open mind, a love for learning, and a positive attitude, and the willingness to work hard and try new things.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Mr. Guzzone
