If your child is going for a physical in the upcoming months, please remember all students entering Grade 7 must have the Meningitis vaccine for the 1st day of school in September.

All students entering Grade 6 in September who are 11 must have the Tdap vaccine for the first day of school.

As soon as your child turns 11, they must have this vaccine.

Immunization requirements have not changed in New York State.

Please remember if your student will be playing a spring sport, they must have a current physical on file. Physicals are good for one year only.


Please send the children in with coats, hats and gloves. They are outside for recess whenever weather permits and they need to be dressed appropriately.

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please let us know. You can email me in the morning. Please let us know the reason for the absence.

A couple of reminders regarding illness.
Students must be symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medicine before they can return to school. This includes vomiting and  fever. If they are sick at home through the night, please do not send them to school. Please do not give a sick child medication and send them to school.

If your child is put on an antibiotic, they must be on the antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school.

When packing your child's lunch, please do not pack candy or soda in the lunchbox. Remember we are a nut free school. This includes granola. We try to encourage healthy eating.
