If your child is going for a physical in the upcoming months, please remember all students entering Grade 7 in September must have the Meningitis vaccine by the first day of school.

All students entering grade 6 who are 11 are required to have the Tdap vaccine by the first day of school.
 If your child is not 11, he or she must have it as soon as they turn 11.
Updated immunization records are required.

Immunization requirements in NYS have not changed.

Students in grades 1,3,5, and 7 are required to have a current physical.
Student athletes must also have a current physical on file. Physicals are good for one year only.

All prescriptions must be renewed every year.

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please let us know. You can email me in the morning. Please let us know the reason for the absence.

A couple of reminders regarding illness.
Students must be symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medicine before they can return to school. This includes vomiting and  fever. If they are sick at home through the night, please do not send them to school. Please do not give a sick child medication and send them to school.

If your child is put on an antibiotic, they must be on the antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school.

When packing your child's lunch, please do not pack candy or soda in the lunchbox. Remember we are a nut free school. This includes granola. We try to encourage healthy eating.
