Welcome to 4th Grade Science! I am excited to begin a new year of learning, exploring, and discovering with all of you.
In Science this year, students will use the HMH Science workbook as we investigate a variety of topics related to life, earth, and physical sciences. Through hands-on activities, experiments, discussions, and STEM challenges, students will develop their curiosity and learn how scientists ask questions, solve problems, and make discoveries.
We also have copies of the ScienceSaurus reference book available in the STEM Lab for students to use throughout the year. This resource helps students review important concepts, build science vocabulary, and strengthen their understanding of what we learn in class.
Science is everywhere! I encourage students to observe the world around them, ask questions, and never stop wondering how things work. Together, we will have a fun and exciting year of scientific exploration.
I look forward to a wonderful year in 4th Grade Science!
Scientifically,
Ms. Hidalgo
